Pan Seared Sea Scallops

Ingredients

• 8oz Sea Scallops

• Butter

• Minced Garlic

• Thyme

• Olive oil

Instructions

Get olive oil heated in pan on stove top medium/High heat. Pick off scallops sweet meat (the little hard pieces on the side of scallops, not on all scallops sometimes they fall off on there own). Sear one side of the scallops for about 1.5mins then flip. Once flipped add butter, minced garlic and thyme and baste scallops for remaining 1.5mins. Do not over cook scallops they will get tough. Scallops can be eaten raw so better to leave undercooked. Serve immediately!
