Cast Iron Halibut

Ingredients

  • 2 halibut fillets (8/9oz each) skinned

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced

  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • squeeze of lemon (optional)

Instructions

Brush halibut with sauce on all sides. Heat cast iron on high. Cook for 90 seconds per side, then reduce to low heat for an additional 2-3mins per side. Brush on sauce in between each flip! Can also use cod or striped bass as alternative.
